Job Description

As a team member, you will be responsible for developing new and existing templates and publication/editorial designs (e.g. Annual Reports, Proxy Statements) bringing them to life using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. The candidate will have strong conceptual skills, understanding and incorporating the use of company brand guidelines, style sheets, knowledge of typography, publication design, and info-graphics. This role requires time-management skills to handling multiple projects at the same time. The candidate should be detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, thriving and friendly environment.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 10-6pm EST with the options to work overtime during the week and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Layout design following client’s brand guidelines.
  • Interpret feedback and make appropriate edits to existing materials from clients, using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Present design concepts and incorporate comments/feedback into final designs.
  • Print Production – ensure final designs meet quality standards and are ready for production, including reviewing proofs and ensuring color accuracy.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Works effectively within a team and maintains a positive attitude towards collaboration.
  • Update and maintain accurate electronic file management with internal file storage procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required (5-7 yrs experience).
  • Demonstrate strong visual, written and oral communications skills.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), as well as Adobe Acrobat and the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong knowledge of typography, style-sheets, imagery, info-graphic creations.
  • Understand brand guidelines and create solutions that are on brand - excellent typography skills and comprehension of grid systems.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $62,000 to $110,000 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
